Desirae “Desi” Payne, aka Dizzy the Clown,

has been a professional clown since 1996


Worked with children for over 25 years


B.A. in Christian Education & B.A. in Theology


Extensive training in the art of clowning


Privileged to be Official Guest Ringmaster for Ringling Brothers & Barnum and Bailey Circus in 2007 in Ottumwa, Iowa, and performed in pre-show and finale

Dizzy also provides humor therapy at Ottumwa Regional Health Center and the McCreery Cancer Center on a weekly basis, to children, dialysis patients,

chemo-therapy patients, and anyone who is a child at heart

 

Dizzy was a contributing author in the book, "The Joyful Journey of Hospital Clowning"

 

 


Dizzy especially enjoys ministering in churches and sharing God’s love


A member of the World Clown Association, Clowns of America International, 
 Korn Patch Klown Alley of Des Moines, Iowa, the Christian Creative
 Arts Association, and the Fellowship of Christian Magicians.


Desi resides in Ottumwa, Iowa, with her husband, Craig, and children,

Nathan and Erin.
